Laquita is married to Josh Robertson, the Associate Pastor of Mt. Repose, and they have three adult children.  They’re a blended family on an amazing journey.  Chris, Laquita’s oldest son, gifted her with grandchildren Mattheau and Zoey. Brian, Josh’s son, Laquita refers to as her wonderful bonus son, has taught her many life lessons about what it means to be a step mom. Her beautiful daughter, Zara, is married and she and her husband Wayne are amazing, have their own business. They are all wonderful kids!

Laquita’s grandson Mattheau was diagnosed with Autism at around 2 years old. That fueled in her a desire to connect with other families in the ASD world and let them know they are not alone. They are loved and welcomed here at Mt. Repose!

Laquita works part time and volunteers in the church office helping our Pastors with daily clerical needs. She is also one of the singers in our wonderful  Praise band! Singing is a passion of hers, and she chooses to do it for God alone. If not at home with family or at church you can most likely find her  soaking in the beauty of God’s creation!
